Our retreat centre is a place of strength where relaxation is possible through a connection with nature and silence. It is an ideal place for retreats, seminars, training, healing and wellness.

At silence.land in Portugal, we offer you a very special, extraordinary place with a perfect infrastructure.

Key data of the seminar house

The seminar house is detached and stands magnificently under a powerful cork oak with a wide view of the valley.

  • The total area is 121 square metres (11 x 11 metres)
  • The floor is made of stone and can be covered with carpets
  • The walls consist of sliding glass doors that can be opened all round
  • All 4 roof elements can be opened individually electrically (...in the open air)
  • The dimmable LED lighting creates a special atmosphere in the evening
  • On the east side there is a 25 square metre wooden terrace
  • The 30 square metre stone terrace on the north side can be used     

Extensive equipment

We can provide the following equipment

  • Yoga mats (studio quality with 4.5 mm height, organic quality) 
  • Yoga blocks (22.5 cm long, 13.5 cm wide and 7.5 cm high, 100 g) 
  • Yoga straps (longer version) 
  • Seat cushion (seat height 10/15 cm, filled with organic spelt husk) 
  • Yoga blankets (100% cotton, woven and dyed, tested for harmful substances)
  • CD player and 2 active loudspeakers and connection for smartphone
  • Various musical instruments e.g. TamTam gong, yembe, handpan, hand drum, rattle
  • Comfortable seating (beanbags and loungers)
  • Sufficient chairs are available if required

Catering during the event

We offer full catering for participants in seminars/workshops.
The catering is vegan/vegetarian and as far as possible organic. It includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks (water, tea).
The type of food, procedure, scope and meal times are determined between silence.land and the Organiser agreed in advance. The food preparation is managed and carried out by an experienced event chef.
